The hugely acclaimed directorial debut from Joe Cornish, Attack the Block finally hits the streets on DVD and Blu-ray Double Play & EST today! Bonfire night, South London. Sam (Jodie Whittaker - ST TRINIAN'S, VENUS) and a gang of hooded youths encounter a meteor which crash lands near their housing block. Sam flees the scene, but the gang are attacked by a small vicious alien. They kill the ghoulish invader, but their triumph is short lived. More aliens are invading and they’re bigger, stronger and out for blood. The gang’s only chance of survival is to take refuge within the concrete walls of the block. Teaming up with Sam and local drug dealer Ron (Nick Frost - SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ), they realise it’s time to step up and be heroes.
